There were several models, some just funny looking revolvers, some Fosbery descendants. I suspect Italian gun law and the desire to do something different merged in the design.
They are interesting to shoot, but not as much fun as a Fosbery. The low barrel axix dies make it seem less recoily than a regular revolver, but that could be the weight.
